Men's basketball

The SAIT Trojans men's basketball team came into Friday's ACAC contest ranked No. 2 in the nation. They took on the country's 12th-ranked team in the Ambrose University Lions, and beat them 94-82. As a team, they shot an impressive 52 per cent from the field. Ambrose leads the ACAC in three-point efficiency, shooting a combined 40 per cent from behind the arc, but SAIT held them to just 26 per cent (8-for-30) on Friday.

Because of the win, SAIT has now moved up to become the No. 1 ranked team in the country.
