Eric Krienke - Men's hockey

SAIT Trojans men's hockey player Eric Krienke has had a fantastic season, to date, and this past weekend was no different as he recorded a combined four points in his team's split with the University of Alberta-Augustana Vikings. In Friday's 6-2 victory in Camrose, Alta., the second-year forward assisted on two goals.

A night later, Krienke scored twice in the final period as his Trojans came up just short in a 6-5 loss.

The four-point weekend puts Krienke atop the ACAC's leading scorer race with teammate Dean Allison, as the both of them have 21 points in 14 games. Krienke's 21 points also eclipses the mark of 18 he had in 25 games last season as a rookie.
