Charlie Conner - Men's basketball

SAIT Trojans men's basketball player Charlie Conner played a vital role in his team's sweep of the Briercrest College Clippers this past weekend, recording a combined 35 points, 11 rebounds and five assists.

On Friday night, the second-year guard from Lacey, Wash., was very efficient, scoring 25 points on 10-of-13 shooting from the field - including going 3-for-4 from behind the three point line. He added five rebounds and three assists, as his Trojans ran away with a 112-73 victory.

Less than 24 hours later, in his team's 104-59 victory, Conner added 10 points, six rebounds and a pair of assists in just over 20 minutes of play to help his team go into the holiday break a perfect 10-0.

Charlie Conner is a Business Administration student at SAIT.
