Simran Dhami - Women's volleyball

SAIT Trojans women’s volleyball player Simran Dhami led her team to two out of a possible four points this weekend, making ACAC history in the process.

In Friday’s 3-0 win over the Medicine Hat College Rattlers, Dhami recorded five kills, three service aces and one block. The one block was all she needed to become the league’s all-time leader in that category, surpassing the mark of 232 set by Lakeland College’s Michelle Laing.

The fifth-year middle added another block in Saturday’s 3-1 loss to start creating some separation between her and Laing.

Simran Dhami is a Bachelor of Business Administration student at SAIT.
