Mataya Blakney - Women's Soccer

SAIT Trojans women's soccer player Mataya Blakney finished off an incredible regular season this past weekend, as her team capped off a regular season in which they went 12-0.

Because of inclement weather, her Trojans were asked to play three games in the final five days of the season.

On Tuesday, Blakney scored the game-winner in her team's 2-0 win over Ambrose University. Later in the week, she was in on every goal, as she scored once and added two asissts in their 3-0 win over Olds College. The last day of the season, Blakney put a stamp on her final post-secondary regular season with two goals and an asisst in their 5-0 win over Ambrose University.

Mataya Blakney is a Bachelor of Business Administration student at SAIT.
