Team of the Week

Saturday January 28

SAIT TROJANS Men's Hockey Team

SAIT Trojans Men’s Hockey Team (17-4-1) The SAIT Trojans men’s hockey team battled the NAIT Ooks over the weekend and had to deal with adversity from the drop of the first puck on Friday night at SAIT Arena. The Trojans were faced with the challenge to stay together as a cohesive unit as members of the SAIT men’s team were removed from the game with various penalties over both contests. Each SAIT player had to step up into various roles and new assignments were being put on players on the fly. The Trojan squad rose to the challenge and showed true teamwork as they fought an aggressive NAIT squad to take all four points with a 4-1 win on Friday night and 4-3 victory at NAIT on Saturday. With the two wins, SAIT remains in second place in the ACAC.
