Kim Lee a fifth year guard and the driving force on the Trojan team has dominated the ACAC with stellar offence and defensive skills. She was on the ACAC South Division leader board in nearly every major category. Lee led the South, and the ACAC, in points per game with 20.37 and placed first in her division for field-goal percentage, 52.6 and steals, 4.00, per game often defending the opponents' best player. She also placed third in the South for assists per contest at 4.05. Kim's accomplishments, which include guiding the Trojans to an ACAC title, have earned her recognition such as being named to the ACAC South Division All-Conference first team, named an ACAC Athlete of the Week and CCAA Athlete of the Month. In her spare time, Kim and other members of the Trojan basketball team volunteered for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Calgary in the construction of Eleanor's Houses which provides housing and support to young people at risk-of or involved in sexual exploitation.

December 2009: Kenny Rauwerda (Men's Volleyball) is a second year Chemical Engineering Technology student at SAIT Polytechnic. Playing the right side for the Trojans, Kenny is leading the ACAC in blocks and 143 kills. Kenny's superior play was instrumental in the Trojans victory over the South's top seeded Red Deer College. During the first match, he had 12 kills and 6 digs and responded with an incredible 27 kills on the rematch. He has been a major factor in the Trojans' 6-2 start to the season.
February 2010: Kim Lee (Women's Basketball) Rookie guard, Kim Lee is enrolled in the Business Administration Program at SAIT Polytechnic. Lee was a key contributor to the Trojans first place finish in the ACAC South division. In February she tallied 136 points and logged 175 minutes of play. The Trojans finished the season with a 19-1 record, which is the best record in team history. Kim finished the season sitting atop the South Division leader board in nearly every major category. She led the South in points per game with 20.37; a field goal percentage of 52.6; and steals per game 4.00. She placed third in assists 4.05 per game.

The National Scholar Award is designed to recognize the outstanding academic accomplishments of CCAA student-athletes. To achieve this honour, a student-athlete must achieve a GPA standing of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale or equivalent in their current academic year.
