Laura Fehr (Brackenbury) - Women's Basketball

Laura Fehr (nee Brackenbury) has made a significant contribution to SAIT as an Athlete, a Coach, and a Builder.

As an athlete, she received such awards as Rookie of the Year (1987-88), Team Captain, Most Valuable Player, and SAIT Female Athlete of the Year (1989-90).

Upon graduation from SAIT, she returned as an Assistant Basketball Coach to the Lady Trojans, where she has remained since 1990 (5 years) and also held the position of Secretary to the Trojan Athletic Foundation for 2 years (1991-93).

It is fitting and an honour that the first female-athlete inductee be such a deserving recipient.
