The SAIT Trojans Sport Services Department is accepting applications from Trojans athletes for the positions of Group Leaders for the Trojans Summer Sport Camps (volleyball, basketball and hockey). GROUP LEADER JOB DESCRIPTION

Camp Leader Job Description

- Intake of camp kids on first day of camps
- Handing out of camp shirts
- Attendance for morning and afternoon sessions
- Instruction to all camp kids (individually and in group settings)
- Implementing program plan for the day/week
- Leadership during gym and outdoor activities
- Set up and take down of equipment
- Supervision of camp kids during lunch hour
- Meetings with head coach before and after each day of camp
- Punctual and prepared for coaching
- High energy and enthusiasm
- Willingness to learn new coaching techniques
- Ability to take initiative and good communication skills
- Experience coaching camps is an asset
