Trojans alumni paints success on and off the court
Stepping off the court for the final time as a member of the SAIT Trojans women's volleyball team in 2006, Mandy Tsung felt a sense of accomplishment.
Tsung says that her favourite memory as a Trojan is from the very last game of her final year.
"I played the best game of my college career, surprising myself, my family and my teammates and coach," she said.
"I went through a lot of tough times on the team, but in that moment it all paid off...the lessons really sunk in."

Strong foundation brings architect Paul Norris back to SAIT
Being an architect involves well-laid plans and design. But life, as Paul Norris discovered, doesn't always follow the blueprints.
As a post-secondary student in the 1990s, Paul Norris earned his undergraduate degree in architecture from the University of Saskatchewan. He applied for graduate studies at the University of Calgary, but couldn't get in. As a backup, he came to SAIT for a two-year diploma in architectural technologies.
"SAIT was my fall-back and ended up being the most influential thing I did. The academics here were important -- the things I was taught, and the way they were taught," says Norris. "But the most influential (aspect) was my time as a Trojan."
